Bestdeck's development has been underway since 2004 in Upstate New York.  Its owner, Karl D. Ochs, owner of Bestway Enterprises, Inc., began working on the project in spring 2004, recognizing the growing demand for composite products.  With the goal of creating a more cost-effective option for its customer base, Bestway Enterprises purchased equipment to manufacture its own line of composite decking in the summer of 2005.  In the fall of that year, a 76,000 sq. ft. facility in Preble, New York, was purchased to house this new project.  Today, under General Manager, Andrew Porter, the Preble facility is running 24 hours a day, manufacturing Bestdeck Composite Decking.

Bestdeck Composite Decking is available in two profiles, Bestdeck16 (5/4x6) and Bestdeck24 (2x6).  Bestdeck16 is ideal for a beautiful deck, porch or any 16 inch on center application. Bestdeck24 is designed to span 24 inch on center for docks and other specialty needs. 

Bestdeck16 and Bestdeck24 are offered in three distinct colors, Nantucket Gray, Sedona Red and Chesapeake Sand.  These colors contain UV stabilizers and mold inhibitors to reduce fading and maintain the original appearance and quality. Each Bestdeck board is reversible with a traditional wood grain pattern on one side and a contemporary brushed pattern on the other.  Both of these finishes provide a beautiful non slip face that will look great for years to come without staining or painting.

Bestdeck Composite Decking uses patented Coretech engineering.  This innovative hollow core I-beam construction yields decking material that is light yet strong and durable.  Bestdeck's Coretech engineering provides a superior alternative to traditional lumber and composite products.  This hollow core design can be concealed using Bestdeck End Caps to create a more finished look.
